The intelligent on-load tap-changing transformer features two capacity levels—large and small—and can automatically adjust its operating capacity in response to load changes without interrupting power supply. When the load is light or nearly no-load, the transformer switches from the high-capacity setting to the low-capacity setting, significantly reducing no-load losses while eliminating the inconvenience of manual operations required for off-load capacity adjustments. This truly achieves energy savings and intelligent operation. This product is particularly well-suited for rural power grids with large seasonal load fluctuations, residential communities experiencing significant day-and-night load variations, street-lighting substations, urban commercial districts, non-full-time industrial zones, and distribution transformers serving oilfield pumping units. It is also ideal for 35kV power transformers with substantial load variations. The intelligent on-load tap-changing transformer developed by our company holds multiple patents and consists primarily of a transformer, an on-load tap-changing switch, and a control cabinet equipped with an on-load tap-changing controller. Its advanced functions—including data storage, remote signaling, remote control, remote adjustment, remote measurement, intelligent networking, reactive power compensation control, and anti-theft protection—are unmatched by conventional energy-saving products such as traditional rolled-core transformers and amorphous transformers.
